After a university course sparked a deeper interest in creative arts, Opeyemi pursued formal education in fashion, which cemented a commitment to bring African-inspired fashion to the forefront of the industry.
Our Story
Founded in 2018 by Opeyemi Salami, a visionary designer with a passion for authenticity and a keen eye for detail, Beth&Beth emerged from the realization that mainstream fashion often overlooks the unique contours of the African physique. Educated at a prestigious Italian-affiliated fashion school, Opeyemi saw a need to bridge a gap in the market by tailoring designs to celebrate the curvaceous beauty of African women. At Beth&Beth, we blend the richness of African fabrics with contemporary fashion, creating pieces that are not only wearable but also empowering.
